My partners and I have been working on it directly for over a year now, but Sam and Denise have been laying the groundwork for PlutoPort long before, with their general experience in all sizes of business and their amazing knowledge of building secure systems like these (they've done really big custom software projects for national banks, hospitals, and government counties, but also for numerous small businesses). There's no way I'd be a part of this team if it weren't for my confidence in Sam and Denise's abilities - as well as the knowledge that these are really good people who care about right and wrong and doing business honestly, treating everyone they meet with respect and compassion. That's what excites me most about being a part of PlutoPort, even more than the cool features we've developed and the interesting concepts we're still developing for future enhancements. Our other partners include Ric and Jim, both of whom I met through Sam and Denise. Ric is a really talented professional photographer and also knows a whole lot about internet tools. Jim is great with people and knows good service. He's helping us build a PlutoPort community, responding to some of our newest users' questions and comments.
Anyway, I'm putting up this journal to talk about some of the ins and outs of PlutoPort, as well as some behind the scenes stuff and our own personal experiences. I hope this may be useful for people trying to get a deeper idea of who we are and what PlutoPort is all about!
